Why should I take the virtual Facilitation course?

Facilitation is needed every day to enable groups to be more effective. It adds structure and process to allow groups to focus on goals. The Foundation level confirms that candidates have sufficient knowledge and understanding of the Iceberg® Process Facilitation model to be able to contribute effectively to facilitated events

This Facilitation course is for anyone who needs to work with groups at meetings, workshops or events, including current and future project, program and portfolio managers. This course is also relevant for those who wish to improve their skills in bringing out the best in others by learning tools and techniques to be able to better understand what people really mean and how to use the process to get the most out of a meeting.
This course is given in French with English material and exam.

Facilitation Foundation in French with English material
Virtual classroom training allows you to benefit from real-time instruction from the comfort of your home or office. You benefit from the same interactions as an on-site class and will be able to ask questions of the instructor. Since the exams are not done on paper during the course but online, you will also benefit from time to study and prepare until you are ready to obtain the certification.
What are the course prerequisites?
There are no prerequisites to take this course. You must complete approximately 3 hours of study before class. We will provide you with all the reading material you need to prepare before coming to class.
What is the exam?
Facilitation Foundation
The exam is designed to test your knowledge and understanding of Facilitation. Passing this exam provides permanent certification.

• Pass mark : 25 (on 50 questions) - 50 %
• Closed book.

A personal computer is recommended to avoid any technical issues. If you are using an office device, make sure you have access rights or IT computer support at the time of the exam. For the online proctored exam, an interface must be installed. Administrative rights are therefore essential.
Exams can be taken on a recent MAC or PC with Windows. A working webcam and microphone (internal or external) are required.
The online exam is not available on a tablet (Ipad) or cell phone at this time.
